Prayer School Principles

1
Intimacy with God
Effective prayer always comes from your heart and not your head. Reading and meditating the Word will help you distinguish between your heart and your head. It will cultivate your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. The more you develop your relationship with Him through prayer and the Word, the more your anointing for prayer will increase. Then you will move into places in prayer that you never even imagined. Wonderful experiences! But we don't seek experiences or manifestations, just seek Him and spend time in His Word and in prayer everyday. Follow His leadings and yield to the prompting He puts in your heart.
2
The Importance of Praying in Tongues
Tongues is a part of the Great Commission. We need the empowering of the Holy Spirit. The qualification to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues is to be a believer. God desires to reveal His plans and purposes. He isn't hiding His plan from you. He wants you to know His will and things He has prepared for you. God's purposes and plans are unveiled and revealed as we receive the interpretation of our tongues.
3
Spirit-Led Prayer
Don't try to imitate another person praying. When you try to copy someone else's prayer, it's like trying to wear someone else's clothing that do not fit you. If you just try to pray with your head, you'll pray the wrong thing at the wrong time. Locate your own heart and follow what the Holy Spirit is saying to you. We desperately need His voice speaking through our prayers. When God speaks things change, conditions in spiritual realms are altered which makes a way for the move of God in the hearts of men.
