PASTOR TERRI COPELAND PEARSONS – AUGUST 1993
Abide and dwell. Sin. Fear. Torment. The winds of the world will blow and continue to rise. The flood of sin will rise, swirling around. The church is the shelter from the storm. Like Moses could not enter in because of the glory, sin will not be able to enter. Keep sin that comes from within out, and sin from the outside won’t be able to get in. You can only be shaken from within. Lift up the hands of the pastor and the staff. Hear from Me for My intent and purpose for this church.
People join with the mission of this church and become a target. If their eyes are open to partake in (this calling) they will not be shaken and will fulfill their calling and the calling of the church. You know the mission of the church but you have not yet seen the strongholds you must cast down or the obstacles you must move. It is world reaching.
Pray for open hearts, understanding and revelation and the will of God in the plans, purposes and pursuits of this church. Get before God on how to do things. This outpouring is not on people here and there. This outpouring is all of My Spirit on the Body at one time. No longer an outpouring of just the Word, or just healing, “Pentecost”, or just evangelism. Resurrection power shall be manifest in the body at one time. When the fullness is manifest we’ll call it the rapture, the catching away of the church. We must pray for the pastor and staff. Purity from sin and in thoughts. That God’s direction and His will will dwell and abide.
A great storm’s coming. A new era of time. New age and intensity of warfare. Forces of God called to wave the banner high. That is why it’s so important to hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. Those who hear His voice most clearly will be the most effective. The most precise will be on the front line. Be careful and keen to what you hear. Pray that you not be clouded, to hear clearly. Jesus is Lord of the Church. Things of God are all working together toward the end. To you it’s the catching away of the church. To Me it is Armageddon. To Me it’s the removing of satan in your presence. Things are moving more and more swiftly toward that battle. This is the reason we must hear the voice of our Commander in Chief precisely. Pray that the people will hear precisely and obey precisely. Precision is more important than ever. Pray that the people hear quickly. Time is short. No time to be lazy. Pray that they suddenly hear and receive the commands of the Lord. Pray that they hear His voice whether in the sermon, the music, or Thus saith the Lord, the inner witness or the still small voice. Pray that it rings through their bosom like His voice booms through the eternities. Take His words as our commands.
Pray for the pastor, the staff and the children’s teachers. Pray that they make a difference. Pray that the pastor sees the face of Jesus and hears His voice and turns and speaks to the people. That he abides and dwells—stays consistently in the presence of the Lord. (*Psalm 91)
Don’t be moved by what we see in the nation, world and in the body of Christ. Don’t be disturbed when you hear of troubling things in the world. They will continue to come. There will continue to be those in the body of Christ who will fall. Supposed leaders who are deceivers drawing sheep to themselves. Wolves in sheep’s clothing. Pray that they know the True Shepherd. Then when the false is revealed, they won’t be bothered by it. This will not stop the Church. We’ll be settled by knowing the True Voice of the Good Shepherd.
CONFESSION:
We have the spirit of revelation. We hear the Master’s voice. We are settled and rooted in Jesus Christ. We do not draw attention to us but to Jesus Christ and His Word and His Lordship. Change our hearts. We see our shortcomings. We see what Jesus can do through us. Reveal to us anything in us that need not be there. No selfishness. Change us to walk in Your way and Your will. We are servants sent to serve you. We will utter prayers over those who have never had anyone pray over them before. It’s easy to hear from God here. The pastor feeds the sheep. We will be unselfish. Workers hear and obey. His plans will not be thwarted. Joy and strength. Wisdom and discernment in finances.
